Where hospitality careers feel like belonging

Showdown Supperclub is a light-filled, coastal-inspired dining room where our team knows regulars by name, celebrates milestones with our guests, and hosts warm, organised social poker evenings that feel more like a club gathering than a gaming floor.

We look for people who are curious, kind, and committed to doing the little things well—whether that is a perfectly timed plate from the pass or a reassuring welcome for first-time poker night guests.

Our restaurant philosophy

We foster a collaborative atmosphere where culinary creativity and warm service go hand-in-hand. Tradition and innovation sit side by side on our menu, our drinks list, and in the way we host our community.

What is the typical recruitment timeline?
Once we receive your application, we aim to respond within 7–10 days. During busy periods this may be longer, but we will keep you informed wherever possible.
Do you offer casual and part-time roles?
Yes. Many of our team members start in casual or part-time positions, with opportunities to move into more permanent roles as availability and business needs align.
How are shifts structured?
We build rosters around lunch, dinner, and special events, aiming to balance business demand with sustainable patterns for our staff. We discuss availability and preferences during recruitment.
What does “responsible play” mean for poker staff?
All poker evenings at Showdown Supperclub are in-person, social, and conducted in accordance with applicable Australian state or territory regulations. Staff are trained to provide clear information, uphold age restrictions, discourage risky behaviour, and seek support from management if any concerns arise.
